I offer skilled, year-round garden maintenance, with a focus on maintaining your growing space in a climate-friendly way.  I do not use any chemical fertilisers, pesticides or herbicides, and all of my power tools are battery-operated rather than petrol.

 

I can conduct regular or one-off maintenance visits.  Before commencing, I visit your garden to have a chat about your needs, then agree on a frequency to suit you.  The maintenance visit ensures that the garden looks its best, whilst also maximising its potential as a climate-friendly space. Maintenance would typically include pruning, weeding, planting, mowing and hedge trimming.  At the same time, I place an emphasis on reducing the carbon footprint of the garden; creating and maintaining compost; creating natural fertilisers; using natural control methods for pests and diseases and maintaining soil health in order to increase carbon sequestration.

If your garden has been long-neglected, I am able to conduct garden 'rescues', bringing the space back to life and making it useable again!

 

I currently work in private gardens, public spaces, communal gardens (e.g., in blocks of flats) and community growing spaces.  I have experience in both edible and ornamental settings.
